On Elba Island  just 20 meters from the beach of Scaglieri, Hotel Danila is situated in the central part of the island, along the road from Portoferraio to Marciana Marina, 7 km away from Portoferraio and the airport of Marina di Campo.

Harmoniously imbedded in the surrounding macchia vegetation, the hotel is mostly composed of indipendent rooms facing the sea, and spread in a garden directly by the seaside.

The Hotel Danila has 27 rooms with telephone, Satellite-TV, hairdryer and safe deposit box. 8 rooms dispose of a ceiling ventilator, the others are equipped with an environmental friendly air-conditioning system, some have also a jacuzzi bath tub.

For our guests we dispose of an internal parking.

The Hotel has also some communicating rooms, ideal for families. The outside spaces are beautifully arranged with pergolas where our guests can enjoy magic and relaxing moments, observing the splendid sunsets over the ocean.

The Hotel Danila is run by the owners since 1956 and offers tipically local menus, with a wide choice. For breakfast a self-service continental buffet is served, while lunch and diner are always accompanied by a large salad and vegetable buffet.

Once per week we organize an evening with barbecue diner and live music.

Customers can use the 6 holes golf course and the 9 tennis courts of the nearby Hotel Hermitage and the appassionate diver can find on the Biodola beach the great diving center.

Ideal departure point for the appassionate trekkers, mountain-bikers, as well as for those who love nature walks. Several trail of the Nationl Park of the Tuscan Arcipelago depart from the Hotel to Forno, Viticcio and Procchio. 

Guests can also use the services of the beach bath "Bagni Scaglieri", offering special conditions to the guests of the Hotel.

Children are welcome and we will see carefully after their needs, starting with the kitchen which is ready to satisfy the special requests of our small guests. Baby sitting on request.
