Seakayak Italy of Elba has its headquarters in Marciana Marina and conducts its seakayaking classes in the protected waters of the harbor of this lovely Elban town, as well as in the beautiful Gulf of Procchio. The warm azure sea and dramatic coastline of Elba offer dozens of possible itineraries for excursions at the end of each course. Five years of experience and over 500 students have helped us to refine our courses, based on international standards, so that every student is able to obtain excellent results in a short time. The experience that Seakayak Italy of Elba has gained as the first seakayaking center in Italy transfers to the other Seakayak Italy centers as well, allowing each Seakayak Italy center to offer the highest level of instruction to its students, as well as the convenience of several different locations.

SEAKAYAK ITALY OF ELBA OFFERS THE FOLLOWING COURSES:

First Level Course

A ten hour course: two days of five hours

It is suitable for those who want to have a brief encounter with "The Sea Kayak World"... and you may discover a great passion! But also for those who wish to spend a different week-end on the Island of Elba amid marvellous nature of the Tuscan Archipelago Park.

The program consist of a theoretical and practical course so to enable the learner (the neophyte) to paddle on his own, enjoying himself in complete safeness.

Hours Course

Morning 09:00 - 12:00 am

Afternoon 03:00 - 05:00 pm

Second Level Course

A ten hour course: two days of five hours

It is suitable for those who have a sufficient command of the basic tecniques or have successfully attended the first level course. The aims is the learning and the mastering, for the more experts, of all the paddling tecniques and safety measures.

The consists of a theoretical and practical course of the most advanced tecniques of navigation and propulsion. Particular attention will be given to safety salvage and to all the necessary information to face a safety navigation with the kayak.

The Seakayakitaly Center of Elba Island holds the courses exclusively during the last week of each of the seguent months: May, June, September, October, according to this timetable:

First level: thursday and friday

Second level: saturday and sunday

If you prefere a different period, you can reserve a "Kayaking Week" or call the Seakayakitaly Center of Rome, operating every week-end from May to late October.

The instalments include insurance and everything necessary for the course:
- high level kayaks;
- paddle;
- life-jacket;
- water-jacket;
- wet suit.

We suggest bringing with you: a change of clothes, old gim-shoes, a beach-towel or a bath-robe, a hat and sun-glasses.
