The guesthouse "Casa Scala" is an old tuscan cottage, completely renovated. It is situated in a very peaceful area on the island of Elba.

Casa Scala can host 10-12 guests. In the upper part of the house are situated two apartments.

2. Apartment 'Scala' also with two bedrooms, a large kitchen, bathroom and furnished terrace. The larger bed/livingroom is equipped with a stove/fire place. The apartment disposes of heating (supplement).

On the groundfloor are two small 1-room apartments, each for two guests with kitchenette and bed, bathroom and garden.

The kitchens are fully equipped and each bathroom has a hairdryer. Bed linen is not included and should be braught. or you can rent it for € 8,00 per person.

For rainy days there are books to read, plays and videos. Large private parking.

There are bicycles available to reach the beach (1 km) and the harbour town of Marina di Campo (1.5 km).

The house is surrounded by a garden with typical mediterranian vegetation:
trees such as eucalyptus, cypress, pine and lush vegetation including rosemary, cactus, mimosa, plum and oleander.

In spring there are also many blooming plants and flowers. There is a huge meadow and a cosy garden with hammock-chair where you can play soccer, badminton, frisbi, bowling....

The surrounding countryside is ideal for jogging/walking and excursions in complete safety.

Leaving the house there are more ways to spend your time: sailing, diving, surfing, riding a horse, paragliding, and in the off season you can do wonderful hikes for example, visit the medieval villages in the mountains or trek the area of the National Park, enjoy coastal walks or hike Monte Capanne (1.018 m), from where you have a gorgeous view of the entire island. Every now and then you can find interesting stones and minerals, for the island has a great deal of them.
